The winners of the 2025 BASA Showcase were revealed on 6th November 2025 at the East Midlands Conference Centre in Nottingham. Bringing together over 100 members and industry professionals to shine a spotlight on the innovation, leadership, and collaboration driving the UK and Ireland’s adhesives and sealants industry. Guests enjoyed a drinks reception (with some extra magic from magician Spencer Lynch), three-course meal, entertainment from acclaimed comedian Jimmy McGhie, who kept the evening full of laughter and energy and we finished the night off with live music from Hard to Handle band.

 A huge congratulations goes to all the winners and highly commended companies across this year’s Showcase categories, including Innovation (sponsored by Azelis UK Ltd), Best Sustainability Initiative (sponsored by PALEUS Acrylics), Excellence in Supply & Services (sponsored by F. Ball and Co. Ltd), Excellence in Training & Development, Community Engagement, Future Leader, Apprentice of the Year and Manufacturer of the Year. The calibre of entries reflected the exceptional talent, creativity, and progress across our sector. Several categories were so closely contested that a record number of highly commended recognitions were given this year.

The stunning BASA Blaze trophies, handcrafted by Ingrid Pears Hot Glass Studio, were once again a highlight of the evening, symbolising the artistry and craftsmanship that define our industry.

We’re incredibly proud to share that £1,887.50 was raised for the British Heart Foundation during the evening - a cause especially close to BASA’s heart. This year’s charity was chosen in memory of three wonderful men from our industry - Eugene, Kevin, and Kieran Rafferty from Rakem, who we have sadly lost over the past three years. We especially remember Kieran Rafferty, Managing Director of Rakem, who passed away in March. Kieran was not only an inspiring and generous leader, but also the heart of his company - known for his warmth, humour, and kindness. We were deeply touched to have representatives from Rakem with us on the night. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who donated and helped support such a meaningful cause.
